October of 1897, William A. Cary was given a letter of dismissal from the Raytown Baptist Church. He attended Crawfordville Baptist Church and then Margaret's Grove Baptist Church where he was the
clerk for the church until his death; May 1912.William married Annie E. Chapman November 27, 1898 in Warren County Ga.

Cary whein the members of a committe draft a letter to the family, " expressive of the high esteem with which our deceased sister Martha E. Cary was held by the Church and the deep sorrow felt by the chruch of which she was a member at her untimely death"
A document dated January 23, 1875 on the letterhead of Ralph W. Golucke, clerk superior court, Crawfordville Ga. has the names of the members of Raytown Baptist Church as of the date the old building was replaced with the new one on the same property. Martha E. Cary is listed as a member and was obviously married to William A. Cary by this time.

Heavy wind storm near Stellaville
Stellaville Ga., April 13,
There was a severe storm southeast of Stellaville Sunday last, which created much excitement. Mr. Seth Carey and family, who spent the afternoon with Mr. John Dukes, seeing the clouds, Mr. Carey, living only a short distance from Mr. Duke’s, tried to go home before the storm reached that place, the road leading through a small strip of woods, The storm overtook them and, blowing down a tree on the daughter of Mr. Carey, crushing her skull, injuring her so seriously that the doctors have no hope of her recovery. The storm doing no other damage, as can be learned.
The storm appeared so quickly no one could hardly realize the danger.
Mr. Carey and family have the sympathy of the entire community.
