Mr. Joseph Edgar Carey, 77 of 4034 Braddock St., Martinez, died Monday Sept 18, 1995; at Augusta Regional Medical Center.
The Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home, with The Rev. Landon T. Carey and Dr. James Perkins officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Carey, a native of Augusta, had retired as a maintenance worker at King Mill. He was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and our friends at Augusta Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife Ruby Wilson Carey; a son , Leslie “Bubba” E. Carey, Augusta; a brother, Landon T. Carey, Washington, GA,; and seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Edward Scott, Dan Martin, Bobby Joyner, Mario Carey, Jessie Powell, Robert Scott, Bruce Alford and Bill Prather.

Clifford Lee (Bo) Carey, 43, of 1964 Battle Road, died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday at his residence after a six months illness.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at S. Luke Methodist Church with the Rev. Harvey E. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the West View Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Augusta. He was a textile worker and member of St. Luke Methodist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Leona Cason Carey, Augusta: three sons, Mario Carey, Clifford Lee Carey Jr., and J. Clinton Reagon, all of Augusta; a daughter, Miss Debra Carey, Augusta; two grandchildren; father Charley C. Carey, Augusta.
